Please take a moment to read the FAQ if you are considering hiring Wedding Day PA for your next event:
How long have you been a planner and how did you become one?
I have been in the Wedding Industry for over 5 years now with more than 60 weddings under our belt. Wedding Day PA was built on the fact that I didn’t see wedding planners as a luxury rather than a necessity. I started with on the day coordination as I saw a gap in the market and have now moved into full event planning and styling, whilst still including the on the day coordination for our clients
As I worked with dozens and dozens of brides and their families, I saw a need for a full-service wedding planner to help struggling stressed out brides, grooms and families plan and design their dream wedding days. I had found that people are either at their best or at their worst at a wedding, depending on their stress levels and support around them and our aim is to ensure that everything is as stress-free as possible
Who do you work best with?
Our ideal client is one who does not have the time, resources or the knowledge to get his or her wedding happening. If you know what you want, but how no idea how to make it happen, that’s ok too you might benefit from our styling packages. If you want to have full control on your wedding, then our on the day coordination package might be more suitable for you.We see wedding planning as a two -way relationship, we want a client who will be open to ideas and have trust that we will deliver his or her dream wedding. We are very transparent with everything we do and we expect the same from our clients.
If you want a wedding without any emotion, where you are only focused on the small details rather than thinking of the bigger picture (hello marrying the love of your life!!!), and where you won’t have the time of your lives, then we are not the right planner for you. We plan for the worst knowing that everything will be taken care of.
There might be bumps along the way, but we will ensure that we have a solution for every problem
Will Í lose control of my wedding if I hire a planner?
Of course not. A bad wedding planner is one who takes control away from you. That is not the point of wedding planning and we would not want our clients to feel that way.
The point of having a wedding planner is to have an extension of who you are as a couple. That’s what we do, we will meet with you both, ask you lots of questions ranging from your hobby to your favorite color and even your favourite icecream so that we get a sense of who you are. You are the focus of your wedding and it is totally your day. We’re just here to help you fully explore your potential and realise your dreams . Basically, you just can’t be the star and the production manager at the same time. We see ourselves as being your right hand woman throughout this journey.
Will you work with the vendors I’ve already found or people I really want to work with?
Of course. We will work with your vendors and make sure that they’re the right fit for you. It is not necessary for you to only work with people we’ve planned with in the past; however, we do have amazing vendors at our fingertips that we can easily match to your needs. Some of the vendors introduced by our brides have become great friends over the years.
Can you create a bespoke package for me?
Absolutely, we love hearing all about your ideas and we will ensure that your need are taken care of.
Are your initial deposits refundable?
When you book your wedding with us, we block out that date and therefore the deposit is non-refundable even if the date is changed or the wedding is cancelled.
